About Lee Baunsgard

A Seattle Pacific University graduate of Fine Arts, Lee has an eye for design, balance and color. His experience in landscape and interior design give him that artistic edge that help tranform ordinary projects in your home and garden into something of which you'll be proud.

Lee has spent the past 30 years fixing up older homes with minimal investment and creating charming showpieces. Using his background in professional landscaping, he has also redesigned yards/gardens, built decks, porches, arbors, trellises, gazebos, and installed small ponds. In addition, he has designed and built enchanting 9' x 12' Victorian garden cottages for use as potting sheds, art studios, or tea houses.

A Seattle area native, he married and moved to his wife's hometown of Yakima in 2006 where they are enjoying the valley and it's wonderful people!

On these pages are examples of the work Lee has done in the past. Although most of the photos show his work outside the home, Lee does a lot of work inside homes, too!

FOLLOWING A FALL and a broken shoulder it was felt that I would benefit from the installing of GRAB BARS in my home. I contacted Lee Baunsgard and arranged for him to install the bars. He was On Time and Had the Tools Needed for the job. He Knew What to Do and How to Do it. I now can get out of my chair and back and forth from the house to the attached garage with a feeling of safety. In the future when I need assistance I will call on Lee — he is my right hand.

SKILLS UNLIMITED…and plays well with dogs is how I would describe Lee Baunsgard. Since first discovering this handyman extraordinaire,

I have had Lee do a number of jobs including:

· Building a storage shed that blends well with the house,

· Revamping a section of weedy lawn and turning it into a beautiful vegetable haven with trellis and raised beds, and

· Reconfiguring a too-big entertainment center into a beautiful TV stand.

Lee is so easy to work with:

· He listens to what you want and adds creative possibilities when your ideas are vague,

· Draws up plans and projected costs for approval before beginning work,

and then

· Works diligently to complete the task. And all this while being kind and playful with a dog who usually isn’t that with most people.
